PERSONAL MILESTONE
I don’t believe in a single milestone. My greatest pride is my daughter, Zohra-Lisa. Currently, I’m celebrating the best year ever with my company, Hustle & Heart Consultancy and am on the verge of a dream project: producing the film Hotel Paramaribo. Each milestone reflects a part of who I am: a mother, entrepreneur & creator.

BOOK
As I am dyslexic, I don't read many books in the traditional way. However, I draw immense inspiration from conversations with fellow entrepreneurs, with women in our Sisterhood community, and from podcasts and audio stories.
I am a huge fan of Issa Rae, an American actress, producer and entrepreneur known for telling authentic stories and paving the way for Black representation. She is a great source of inspiration.
I also love following Mel Robbins’ podcast, and her book ‘Let Them’ is next on my list to listen to.
DAILY INSPIRATIONS
My daily inspiration is, without a doubt, my daughter. Everything I do, I do for her, driven by the desire for her to grow up in a world where she can take her place with confidence, freedom, and opportunities.
ART
I am not a classic art lover, but I can be inspired by art.
The exhibition Wi Sranan, in honor of 50 years of Surinamese independence, reminded me of where I come from and why I do what I do. The power, colors, and stories behind the artworks connected to my Surinamese roots and culture made a deep impression.
