What i know for sure by Oprah Winfrey

My favorite book is What I Know For Sure by Oprah Winfrey. She wrote it around her 60th birthday, sharing the things she had learned up until then. The book is filled with short stories about her life experiences — things that taught her something, helped her grow, or brought her insight. I found it incredibly beautiful and meaningful, especially for young women. While reading, I had several “aha” moments that I still carry with me today.

My work as a social justice lawyer is intense and ever-changing — I often help people through life’s toughest moments. It can be heavy, but coming home to my daughter’s pride, joy, or fresh perspective makes it all worth it. She’s why I do what I do — my daily drive to make a real difference.

My favorite artist is Gustav Klimt. Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by his work. The way he portrays women in a golden world, lovingly embraced by a man, surrounded by energy expressed through flowers, swirls, and other artistic details — I find it stunning. Every time I look at his paintings, I notice something new that I hadn’t seen before.
