To celebrate the start of this fantastic spring, we have given Katie Tomlinson, funky illustrator and artist, carte blanche to paint a number of KAAI leather goods with illustrations that inspire her.

Meet Katie Tomlinson
Katie grew up in Bristol and studied in Birmingham but after a short trip to Belgium, Antwerp completely stole her heart and she moved there permanently with her partner Jelle and dog Raf.
The city's energetic and creative atmosphere inspire her cheerful and exuberant illustrations. She enjoys spending her time sketching in the center of Antwerp, exploring lesser-known spots in the city and traveling to different cities on weekends.
Katie's Antwerp hotspots
Katie, who lives around Groen Kwartier, knows just where to unwind with friends. For a laid-back drink, Café Rood Wit is her favorite hotspot. When it's wine o'clock on her watch, she loves the classic charm of Amber Bottle Shop and the sensual allure of the newly opened Ruby.
On a weekend day, she likes to head to Chinatown to go sketch at spots where noodles are being hand pulled. To fuel her artistic soul, she frequents the Newchild Art Gallery for inspiration. And when she's in the mood for contemporary dance, De Singel is where Katie heads for an unforgettable performance.

On Saturday April 13th, Katie Tomlinson will come to our studio store in Antwerp to paint live on cardholders. You can purchase your cardholder in-store and get it personalised for the total of €125 or receive it for free when you spend over €400.
With her spontaneous and expressive illustrations,she will turn your new KAAI cardholder into a work of art. An ideal spring trip to Antwerp!
