NEW flagship store in Brussels, now also open on Sundays.
A unique store for the cosmopolitan woman.
Three years after the opening of their first Studio Store in Antwerp, Ine and Helga are ready for a new adventure in our capital. Those familiar with the brand know that KAAI has a strong connection with the art-deco style and embraces a cosmopolitan mentality. This attitude and design philosophy were important pillars in the translation to the new Flagship store. The store exudes a special art-deco atmosphere in a contemporary guise, both in shape and use of color. Geometric shapes and soft pastels prevail, providing an aesthetically complementary backdrop to the stylish handbags. Video animations in the shop window and a special zone in the store to test your bag with your tech devices, support the innovative character of the Kaai handbags.Although Kaai has grown strongly digitally in 2020, the founders are convinced that there is still a demand for physical places where women can discover the luxury bags and enter into a dialogue with the KAAI team and with each other.
A unique location and international vision.
The Belgian grandeur atmosphere of the gallery fits in seamlessly with the KAAI collection. Located between the chocolatiers, the oldest cinema in the country, a theater with a ceiling painted by René Magritte, and other Belgian iconic brands such as Delvaux. Kaai wants to conquer its place as an established handbag brand for the woman on-the-go.
“Opening a new flagship store in Brussels is a dream come true,” says Helga Meersmans. For Kaai, this is a step closer to internationalization. They want to reach many women from Brussels and Wallonia by inspiring them with her handbag concept. They also target foreign tourists and the numerous expats living in and around Brussels. “Today we already sell a lot online abroad. After Brussels, we would like to open a KAAI store in several world cities. Next steps could be Amsterdam, London or Paris. In this way we can gradually conquer the world and expand our Kaai community. ”
