Have your KAAI cardholder personalised
by artist Cil De Vylder

The sun’s finally peeking through, winter’s making its exit, and the city starts buzzing with that first bright hint of spring.

To kick off the sunny season, we gave Antwerp artist Cil carte blanche to work her magic on the handy KAAI cardholders. With every brushstroke, she brings a splash of playfulness to your favourite leather accessories.

Join us in-store on April 5th (in Antwerp) or 13th (in Brussels) where Cil will live paint your new cardholder.

Meet Cil

As she grew up in the painting studio of her mother, Cil has been fascinated by drawing and painting her whole life. She enchants with her colourful fairytale-like style inspired by nature and brings a poetic story to paper of a canvas.

She's mainly inspired by the impressions around her. She loves walking in nature and taking her sketchbook or camera with her as a starting point for her drawings. Colourful films are also big sources of inspiration for her, as are the dreams she has at night.

"As an Antwerp-based handbag brand, we like to highlight local female talent. After spotting her talented windowpainting in the city, we are delighted to work with Cil De Vylder.

With a fun and quirky cardholder you're carrying a little piece of art with you everywhere you go."

Unique wearable art piece

For this limited edition collab with KAAI, Cil De Vylder describes the uplifting feeling of spring and the awakening of nature as her main inspiration.

The highlight of the collaboration is a one-of-a-kind Mini Arch bag in cream, meticulously adorned with expressive fruits and a cute picknick scenery in a mesmerizing array of colors.

Will you be the one to score this unique work of art?

Cil's Antwerp hotspots

You’ll often find Cil sketching at KMSKA or FoMu, or reading in the grass at the Botanical Garden. She loves browsing blooms and curiosities at Wilder, and catching a thoughtful film at Cinema Cartoons. For a sweet pause, it’s always Brothers of Julienne – cake first, then more inspiration.

These are the places where her creativity breathes.
